Properly Wash Bundles in These 4 Easy Steps
Take care of your bundles like you would take care of your hair, I mean if you want them to last of course. It’s not quite hard to take care of them to elongate their life and get multiple wears out of them. If you wear them regularly then you know how much product you put in them or how often you style with hot tools and just like build-up occurs on your hair it will also on your bundles.
1. Wet bundle in lukewarm water
You can either run it under the sink or in a container of water and press it down so it’s fully submerged. At this moment some of the product will begin to come out of the bundle and into the water which is expected.
2. Apply shampoo
In a downward motion apply shampoo from top to bottom coating the bundle. Begin to work the shampoo into a lather like you would your hair. Rinse all the shampoo out and gently squeeze out excess water.
3. Apply conditioner
In the same way, you applied your shampoo, in a downward motion top to bottom being sure to coat the entire bundle. Finger detangle or use a wide-tooth comb to work the conditioner through. Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water.
4. Dry bundle
There are a couple of ways to dry your bundles. You could dry them overnight by laying them out flat on a towel and allowing them to air dry. If you need them a little sooner you could also blow dry them on low heat.
